When Emily Pierce was seventeen, she auditioned at John Robert Powers in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was accepted and started acting classes March of 2005. In May, she auditioned for JRP's Runway Team. After making the team Pierce started classes right away and was offered a "freeze modeling" job at Group USA, in a mall in Concord, NC. More and more fashion, bridal and promotional shows started to flow her way. In February of 2006, she auditioned for a role in an independent film titled "Buried Beneath" (2010), a horror/thriller film. She was cast as Liz Holloway, the lead female, a young wife and mother. In March of 2007, she went to an open call at Carolina Talent in Charlotte, NC. She was accepted.
